We want to be fully transparent about how AI processing works because it involves your photos.
When you use AI generation features, your photos are sent to our AI service partners for processing and generation. This is how all AI styling tools work — the photo needs to reach the AI to produce an output. We only work with established, reputable providers who maintain strict security standards.
AI processing requires photos to be accessible during generation. This is a technical requirement of the AI pipeline, not a design choice. Images are accessible temporarily during and shortly after processing — they are not permanently published or indexed. For this reason, we recommend not uploading photos you consider strictly private.
Your personal photos are not used to train AI models. They are processed to generate your result, and that's it.
Uploaded and generated photos are automatically deleted after 90 days unless you've saved them to your wardrobe. You can delete your photos at any time from within the app.
To deliver WellDrobe's features, we work with carefully selected third-party providers across these categories:
These providers handle your data only as needed to deliver their specific service. They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes or beyond what we specify.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone — ever. We may share data only when required by law, when needed to protect our legal rights, or as part of a business transfer (in which case you would be notified in advance).
We use encryption in transit and at rest, and we only work with established, reputable service providers. That said, no system is 100% secure — we cannot make absolute guarantees, especially for data that passes through third-party AI services.
If we ever become aware of a data incident that affects you, we will notify you promptly.

WellDrobe is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it promptly.
WellDrobe operates globally. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own as part of delivering the service. By using the app, you consent to this as necessary to provide AI-powered features.
If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app before they take effect. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
